About Us:

No life lives better than the one

that abides in Christ!

Who are we?
A group of people who believe Christ is THE message Christianity has to offer the world.

What is our purpose?
To lead people into a moment-by-moment, abiding relationship with Jesus.

How do we fulfill our purpose?
By offering you as much free teaching content as we possibly can that centers upon Jesus.

Who benefits the most from our teaching?
1) The Christian living in defeat, discouragement, or boredom.

2) The Christian living overwhelmed by the world instead of overcoming it.

 3) Any person wanting more meaning out of life.

What do we believe?
1) Jesus is the One and only Son of God, the One and only way to God, and the One and only source for abundant life on this earth.

2) Jesus died on the cross to save you from going to hell, and lives within you to deliver you from your daily hell.

3) We cannot be all things to all people, but we will point all people to the One (Jesus) who can.

4) We do not have all the answers, but will point you to the One (Jesus) who does.

What outcome do we desire the most?
That your reality would include this one simple truth: there’s not a problem or situation in this world that the presence of Jesus doesn’t overcome!

Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!

What Inspired the Name Beliefchangers?
All of religion is based on getting you to “behave” in a certain way. Christianity, on the other hand, requires you to believe. There is no relationship with God without believing in Christ (John 1:12, 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, etc.).

While walking on this Earth, each encounter with a person, Jesus steered the conversation toward exposing the person’s belief in order to replace it with a better one – a better belief leading the person into a deeper sense of who He is. Jesus always went for the belief first, because He knew that behavior follows belief. In fact, what you believe determines what you do, and what you’re doing right now reveals what you believe.

So Christ’s “strategy” (so to speak) was to expose beliefs and then move them where they needed to go. The woman at the well in John 4 is a perfect example. Compare where she started with how she ended. She began a skeptic, but at the end of the conversation with Jesus, left to go tell the entire city that she had found the Christ. Yet, she did so without any prompting from Jesus. Why? Because through the course of the conversation, Jesus changed her belief about Himself, and this change in belief compelled her to act!

Today Christ still speaks.  He purposes to change the beliefs of His hearers in order to deepen the relationship He has with them.  And how does He accomplish this? By revealing Himself to us through our own individual life experiences. Therefore, the name “Beliefchangers” reflects what Christ accomplishes in our lives every moment of the day.

What does the logo represent?
The ball represents the Earth, the dots the little dipper. The colored dot on the outer part of the handle (overlooking the ball) represents Polaris, the North Star. The North Star (at least in the northern hemisphere) remains at the same place in the sky every night and serves as natures compass, because it always hovers over due north.

You and I need our own “personal/spiritual north star” to guide us in everything. This never changing star that shines in your life’s sky is Truth. And what is Truth but the very person of Jesus! Therefore, the logo depicts Christ being the true north for the world, but more importantly, the true north for your life.

I really like the course and want to finish it

  5. Theresia, we have reset your password in the system and you should be receiving an email to that effect. Please let us know if you have any more problems. Glad you’re enjoying the course!

  6. Theresia…I’m not sure exactly what is wrong, but Kerry can get you fixed up. Email him at support@beliefchangers.com. We’ll get you fixed up soon!

  7. David Smith says:

I am very interested, but have not signed up for the course yet. I’m wondering if this course can be used, and how it would work in a small group setting.

  8. David – Yes, this course can be viewed in a group setting. As long as you have a computer, you can gather around as many as you can to watch. Or, if you want individuals to go through the material before you meet as a group, each person can sign up individually. The course is totally free so either way is fine with me. Thanks for asking!

  9. cheryl maurin says:

Hi I’m new on here i already took the module 1 course already. How do I get back in the system. I’m being kick out and say I already register. Your assistance is greatly apprecated.

  10. Cheryl…sorry for the inconvenience. You might double try this link: http://abidinglifeonline2.beliefchangers.com/user_sessions/new If this doesn’t work, do you mind contacting support@beliefchangers.com? Your email will go directly to the person who handles these issues. If you have any problem, just let me know back here on the Beliefchangers website.

    David:
I love your articles and all your readable material I am impressed with, I register for the course you offer, the problem is that I am totally deaf and I won’t get anything from watching your videos. I completely understand if it’s not possible but figure it can not hurt anything to ask you. Do you offer anyway for a non-hearing person to be able to access your material? I really admire what you are doing, keep it up man. Jeff Wilkerson

  12. Linda Fetherolf says:

David, it would be great to be able to purchase the course by DVD for group setting. Any chance you would be considering a store to purchase DVD studies? I recently read something pertaining to a conference in FL. Is there a chance this will take place? FL is a ways from where I live, but the trip would be worth it! Thanks for all you do!

  13. Linda…we actually had a discussion a few days ago about doing just what you are asking. As we develop this further, we will let you know. It is our intent to get this course (or one like it) on DVD with a study guide that groups could go through together. As it relates to the conference, I’m actually speaking in Florida at a Christian Radio Conference, but we want to some time in the future get out across the country and do some abiding conferences. Let us know the closest major city you live by, and we will make sure to update when we plan one in your area. Thanks for your interest!

  15. Sheralee Tonnessen says:

    David & Kerry

I have a book that Henry & Melvin Blackaby wrote called: Experiencing the Spirit. It teaches the exact principles of choosing to “let Christ live through us” and how we are instructed to do “just that” with scripture. Maybe y’all have read or heard of it. Thought you may enjoy the resource. I pray for guidance on what to read when I go to the library…and on my last trip there (after enjoying your 1st 3 modules), I was led to this book. No coincidence your course & this book are leading in the same direction:) Don’t y’all just love when that happens?!!!
    And as always, peace,
    Sheralee

  16. Sheralee…thanks for your comments! I’m familar with Blackaby’s Experiencing God, but not the Experiencing the Spirit you referenced. But I’m sure it will be great! Press on through the free abiding life course, and if you know anyone who might want to enroll, send them to this link! http://www.facebook.com/beliefchangers#!/beliefchangers?sk=app_7146470109

  17. Sunny says:

David: I am praying over the needs you’ve sent to me, I am one of the people who sent a prayer request as well, but after seeing all the needs there, seeing how small my request seemed next to all the desperate and dying people out there, I want to begin to send money to help…no, I am not wealthy and still am paycheck to paycheck like most people these days, but I can send something weekly and hopefully if more people can do that, together we COULD save peoples lives, homes, etc. Please let me know where to send my tithes, and may God richly bless you all for what you are accomplishing in His name.

  18. linda says:

I read about the Matthew project, but could not find out how to participate. Where can I find more information?
    Thank you for being here!
    God bless you’re work.

  19. Donna Griffin says:

Like the teaching so far. Just wondering what church (denomination) you are involved with.

  20. Donna – Beliefchangers is not part of a church or affiliated with any denomination. We are just a few people who work in business but see our calling to share the abiding message with others.

  21. Doug Mungavin says:

    David,

In an email from you today you state:
“What separates the Christian experience from that of a Muslim? Hindu? Jehovah Witness? Mormon? Jew? Buddhist? New Ager? Or any other religion?

Religions remain viable for the mere fact that the author of all those religions (Satan) has set them up to mirror the truth he saw in heaven:”

I would have to agree with you about Satan being the author of each of the religions listed, with the exception of Judaism. Do you really believe that Satan authored Judaism and not Yehovah?
I do believe that Satan was instrumental in deceiving Jews into believing they can attain righteousness by the law and good works, but that’s different than actually authoring the religion. Maybe I misunderstand what you meant by your assertion. Can you please clarify what you mean?

    Thanks,
    Doug

  22. @ Doug: Thank you so much for your comment!

Unfortunately, my writing was like the “left hand not know what the right hand was doing”—even though both hands were mine!

Your assertion is correct in that Satan did not author Judaism—that was God’s doing. When I wrote the original line, I was intended to separate all of the religions of the world from Christianity based on their exclusion of Christ. As much of our spiritual heritage as we get from the Jewish religion—and even though Jesus Himself was a Jew—Judaism does not look to Christ for salvation. Those who follow it follow a religion because it requires the follower to right him/herself with God based on self-effort, where Christianity relies on Christ to do the work.

Unfortunately, when I wrote the part of Satan authoring the religions, I had all the religions in the world in my mind—but not Judaism. It was definitely a gaff on my part, and I’m indebted to you for pointing it out.

I do know that God allows Christian (teachers or not) to say things that are incorrect so that no person could ever boast in his or her wisdom. I use this as motivation to further make sure I point people to Christ and not to me! :)

Thank you again for catching this, thank you for the way you expressed your thoughts in a non-judgmental way, and please forgive my blunder!

    David

  23. Carmen says:

How do I enter a need in the Matthew Project?

  24. Dee Walker says:

Any way to reset my password I must have typed it wrong and now I can’t figure out what it might be! Thanks!

  25. @ Dee…if you mean for the free online Abiding Life Course, you can contact Kerry (support@beliefchangers.com). He can get you fixed up!

  26. Tammy says:

I absolutely love your videos but your detour from the question about what denomination you are kinda concerned me. You stated that “Beliefchangers is not part of a church or affiliated with any denomination. We are just a few people who work in business but see our calling to share the abiding message with others.” Although this is honorable, this still did not answer which denomination your local church is that you attend. I am more interested in your background versus Beliefchangers. Thank you, Tammy

  27. @ Tammy – My background is Southern Baptist but most of those who have influenced me most are not. I’m called to the message of abiding, and as such, have been influenced by those who have taught the message–people from all different denominations. People like Andrew Murray, Watchman Nee, Mike Wells, and even George Mueller. I’m not sure knowing this changes anything–either the Lord confirms the message or doesn’t. If He doesn’t, you need to stay as far away from Beliefchangers as you can :) . However, if He does, I hope you press on in the revelation He gives.

  28. Mark says:

I felt discretion would be best to bring this to your attention here.
I’ve entered a link to your Facebook page that has a possible “copyright infringement” on one of the photos. The photo shows two watermarks stamps: “dreamstime.com” and the symbol for “No.” Perhaps, Belief Changers is sending a message here that was not intended?

  29. @ Mark…I took a look at the link and you are correct, there is a watermark on the picture. However, it is is so integrated within the picture, I never would have seen it had you not pointed it out. We have various people at various times post pictures, and none of us intends to violate copyrights. I will trace it down tomorrow (Monday) when I get to the office and see how this happened. Thank you for pointing this out.

  30. Ruth Nixon says:

Do you have a telephone contact number

  31. @ Ruth – You can call my office number (which is Stephens Media Group) at 918 492 2660

  32. Joseph D. Gallagher says:

I don’t know much about you but the little I’ve read sounds like sound doctrine. I’m leary of churches because so many of them do NOT have sound doctrine. Many of them are very money oriented. My ears are open, I’m listening.

  33. BeliefChangers needs to add podcasts to their venue of media communication… spread the word!

  34. Linda says:

thank you for your message on spiritual break out. How very true it is and in my life many times I have known brokeness and still am and I thank God for it!!

  35. kingdomchild says:

The lady who was banned is “hurt.” I understand that. NO one wants to feel “rejected.” The term “intersexed” is not a common one, but what is the definition of “inter-sexed?”
“The presence of intermediate or atypical combinations of physical features that usually distinguish female from male.” I don’t think there’s a man or woman alive that doesn’t fit this to “one degree” or another, but this is just another “diversion, distraction and detour” from the need for all of us to know our God and Creator personally.
This need is the REAL need we all have.
What David is doing is so very essential in “scrapping off” the burdens and weight of “religion.”

He’s trying to reveal to the church what Jesus already said about you and Him. This verse may help you understand what I believe David is wanting to communicate to us all…

Deu 30:20 “that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He [is] your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

“He IS your LIFE… Jesus is the “fulfillment” and “provision” for us as Christians.

  36. John Reynolds says:

    In these Scripture verses…

John 15:5-6 I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned.

…how does one “remains in me and I in him”?

    Respectfully,
    John

  37. Adele Paredez says:

Hi David, I was taking the inner life test and I am stumped on the second part. I compleated the first part and I received the results that show my percentage of each cup of thinker, feeler and dower so I stRted to read the questions and trying to check off 29 that apply to me, but here is where I am stumped; some of the questions are asking in a form as if I was answering for some one other than me. For instance, one question asked “how does he feel when i point out his wrong doing” or some thing like that. My question to you is who is the “he” are you refering to? I was only able to check off about 15 questions but most of them but then I unchecked them and thought I would message you on the matter first.

  38. Adele…I’m not sure exactly what you are referring to. No one has brought this issue up, so I’ll need to check on it. But I would go ahead and say your safe in personalizing each question, regardless of a pronoun being used or not. Hope that helps! – david

  39. Karen Hobbs says:

I’m thoroughly enjoying the Abiding in Christ teaching and Recognizing Christ in the Bible. My son is just discovering Christ, and these teachings would help him immensely, but he doesn’t have access to the internet. Is there anyway to obtain hard copies of the teachings so that I could mail them to him? Thank you, again, for these wonderful, enlightening teachings!

  40. Karen…I’m glad the Abiding teaching is really resonating with you! Thanks for sharing! We currently do not have the teachings on anything other than the internet, but some day soon we hope to offer them by other means. When we do, we’ll make some kind of public announcement that I’m sure will come across your Facebook. – david
